The night before Christmas and all through the house not a creature was stirring not even a mouse. This must have been someone else’s house! When my brothers, Jim, Gord and I were children we spent half the night climbing out of bed much to the dismay of my ever-suffering parents. Gord would wake me up knowing if there were three of us running in circles Mom and Dad would relent and let us open our presents. It’s a wonder we didn’t end up with a lump of coal in our stockings. Instead, under the Christmas tree were presents and in our stockings, candy and a Japanese orange, a real treat in those days.

                                                            Merry Christmas!
